It’s been a while! There has been rewrites and improvements while we work on new content in the background. The improvements will continue as part of the Alpha’s purpose, but we also want to provide new content with the upcoming patches as well.
The top 10 players we announced here has received a Christmas/Winter themed accessory in their inventories, along with extra variations for top 3 players. Now some on other news, we have started working on the Steam integration and once everything is in place we will make an announcement about how the process will work for anyone interested. Gameplay

  • Reduced input queue by 80 ms, making actions like scoring, touching lasers and picking up the ball react slightly faster
  • Fixed pushing crowd control effects overwriting the existing speed instead of being additive
  • Changed input backend, which allows weapon switches to happen without any additional delays on mouse scroll
  • Improved overall netcode for melee crowd control effects and hit-stops
  • Added ability to cancel throws with dodge after 0.3s, stagger and knockbacks after 0.1s

Game Modes

Snowball Fight

  • Disabled the temporary event mode

Touchdown

  • Fixed dying to lasers causing issues after playing on practice mode

Practice Mode

  • Added /ball command to spawn, teleport and drop the ball

Small tip: For instant SP refill, use “/inf sp” command twice (turning it on and off)

Maps

Outer Space

  • Added invisible barriers to the spawns which stops attacks from either side
  • Made the bridges more accessible from low ground by adding ledges to jump onto first
  • Added a missing part of the collider in the center pillar

Weapons

Broadsword (Item: Durendal / Founder’s Sword)

  • Increased basic slash animation duration to 0.3s + 0.33s from 0.436s
  • Gave basic slash faster movement speed multiplier at the first half with 1.2x, then 0.7x on the remainder
  • Added ability to cancel basic slash by dodge after 0.28s
  • Adjusted strong cut movement speed multipler to 1.4x & 0.3x on recovery from 1.2x & 0.5x
  • Adjusted dash attack hitboxes to fit visuals better
  • Jump attack to strong cut / dash mouse hold duration has been reduced to 0.15s from 0.3s to match regular strong cut hold durations
  • Jump attack to strong cut / dash minimum wait times has been reduced to 0.35s & 0.4s respectively from 0.5s
  • Jump attack’s crowd control effect has been changed from a knockback to stagger with the duration of 0.42s

Swordgun (Item: Scorpio)

  • Increased bloom accuracy in the middle to get a more linear decrease in accuracy over time
  • Decreased shooting damage to 7 from 8
  • Adjusted stab charge level 1 damage to 6 + 10 + 14 from 8 + 8 + 15
  • Adjusted stab charge level 2 damage to 8 + 15 + 20 from 14 + 14 + 15
  • Adjusted stab charge level 3 damage to 10 + 20 + 30 from 20 + 20 + 20
  • Adjusted stab attack hitboxes and hit timings to fit visuals better
  • Adjusted stab attack critical multipliers to 1.2x, 1.2x, 1.2x on each hit from 1.25x, 1.25x, 1.5x (same across every charge level)

Rifle Cannon (Item: Helios)

  • Explosion delay increased to 0.58s from 0.5s
  • Explosion radius increased to 3.42m from 3m

Skills

Shield

  • Changed the model and collider (Experimental)
  • Increased lifetime to 8s from 7s
  • Increased minimum lifetime after getting maximum damaged to 3s from 1s

Client

  • Static team colors on scoreboard has been removed due to confusions, they now use the same single color as the results screen
  • Settings now allows keybinding to mouse keys (Do NOT bind to left and right click yet, they will still attempt to attack)
  • Fixed Emote Wheel only using the E key instead of keybinding
  • Added community provided Russian translations
  • Added input packet drop counter at top left corner
  • Added Discord rich presence

Note: There is a known issue about new keybindings not resetting in the settings. For now please manually assign it back if you keybind to something wrong by accident.
